CHAPTER 2 - Choose me!
Maryland Primary School

22 March 2018
Dear Major Peake,
I am writing to you to persuade you that I should go to space. It has been a dream of mine to see the Stars, the Earth at night and the counties.
If I were you I would choose me because I’m very healthy and get along with many people .I’m a teacher in the field of science and maths. I teach children gymnastics too. This would help me in space because it makes me fit and it would be easy to float around.
That’s not all. I’m bright and hardworking .I’m brilliant at maths and I can speak many languages, such as Russian, English, Japanese and Chinese. This means I can communicate with any people you give me.
I hope you choose me because I would be very proud to work with someone as smart as you are. Thank you for reading this and I hope you choose me.
CHAPTER 3 - Launch day
Dear Diary, 13.1.18
As I gaze out of the porthole I remember my isolation training. I am struck by the technology. I feel so extraordinary and exited to float in zero gravity. To extreme experiment I am sure I will treasure every moment.
I had 6 years to make this moment perfect. This is a job like no other. I am feel happy, calm, cool but mostly relaxed. As I was leaving Earth I had thoughts of my family. I was very emotional saying goodbye to them. As we were going further from Earth I realised the porthole turning different colours to white then blue.
I called home as fast as I could. I miss them a lot. They said they were proud of me for being the first child in space. I felt brave when they said that. I was very, relived because I thought they would be too scared and bring me home.
The last 24 hours were rough. I feel dizzy, I enjoy sleeping it is always fun. I want to use the treadmill I am training it for the London marathon. I have nearly mastered the summersault. That is all for now see you tomorrow diary.
